ดีส โพรวิเดนซ์ เป็นวงดนตรีอินดี้, ป๊อบร๊อคจากเมืองซีแอตเติล รัฐวอชิงตัน ปัจจุบันมีสมาชิกทั้งหมด 4 คน คือ
Dan Young: แดน ยัง (ร้องนำ, กีต้าร์)
Gavin Phillips: เกวิน ฟิลลิปส์ (กีต้าร์)
David Blaise: เดวิด เบลส (เบส)
Andy Horst: แอนดี้ ฮอร์สท (กลอง)
แดน และเกวิน ร่วมกับสมาชิกเก่า Phil Cobrea และ Paul Benson ร่วมกันฟอร์มวงขึ้นมาในปี 2003 ขณะที่พวกเขายังเรียนอยู่ในไฮสคูล โดยตอนนั้นใช้ชื่อวงว่า Sunday Best พวกเขามีชื่อเสียงในเมืองของตัวเอง จนมีค่ายเพลงหลายแห่งติดต่อมา แต่พวกเขาก็ยังไม่ได้เซ็นต์สัญญากับค่ายใด จนกระทั่งปี 2004 พวกเขาจบไฮสคูล และตกลงเซ็นต์สัญญากับ Rocketstar Recordings และออกอัลบั้มเต็มอัลบั้มแรกที่มีชื่อว่า Our Worlds Divorce
ในปี 2005 ทางวงประกาศว่า พอล เบนสัน มือกลองของวงตัดสินใจออกจากวงเพื่อไปเรียนต่อ และได้รับสมาชิกคนใหม่ คือ Ryan Tapert เข้ามา และตอนนั้นพวกเขาก็ออกจากต้นสังกัดเดิม เพื่อไปเซ็นต์สัญญากับค่ายเพลงชื่อดังอย่าง Fueled By Ramen และได้ออกอัลบั้มที่มีชื่อเดียวกับวงในปี 2006 หลังจากนั้น ฟิล โคเบรีย ก็ลาออกจากวงเพราะปัญหาด้านครอบครัว พวกเขาได้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงสมาชิกอีก 2-3 ครั้ง จนกระทั่งมาลงตัวที่ เดวิด เบลส เข้ามาเป็นมือเบส และแอนดี้ ฮอร์สทเป็นมือกลอง
หลังจากนั้นพวกเขาก็มี EP ชื่อว่า The Bright Lights ในช่วงปลายปี 2008 และก็อัลบั้มเต็มชุดล่าสุดชื่อว่า Who Are You Now? ในช่วงต้นปีนี้เองค่ะ
